Terms and conditions

Updated 26 September 2026. These terms describe the current website and invitation-only beta, plus the paid memberships we intend to offer. Public registration and paid checkout are not open. This page does not invite you to buy a membership today. If a limited paid beta opens, the plan description and checkout shown to you before payment will identify what is available then and what is still due.

Who we are

This website is operated by EwenFoundry Limited, registered in Scotland (SC732552). Registered office: 5 South Charlotte Street, Edinburgh, Scotland, EH2 4AN. Contact daniel@ewenfoundry.com for support, cancellation or a complaint.

Accounts and age

Member accounts, including invitations, and future paid purchases are intended for people aged 16 or over. Access is currently available only by individual invitation; public registration is not open. We will explain the age check at registration. We do not offer accounts to under-16s. Nothing here grants access or creates a purchase route before registration and checkout actually open.

Keep your login details secure and do not share your account. Google sign-in does not create additional access or administrator permissions. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. Existing invited beta access is free, personal and limited to the features granted to your account. We may expire or withdraw free beta access, including for security or misuse. An invitation does not promise permanent access or a paid benefit; a paid membership would require a separate, clearly priced order.

Planned paid memberships

Signed-in members can view the current monthly and annual plan prices before choosing a membership. Learn, Grow and Founder Lab are planned as monthly or annual subscriptions. The annual price is one upfront payment for 12 months of access, equivalent to ten standard monthly payments; it is not a monthly instalment plan. Any annual offer must show the full upfront cost, the 12-month access period and the later renewal amount before payment.

Intended benefits are published courses and resources for Learn; a Grow networking group in Grow; and a Founder group, limited direct inbox, one 15-minute onboarding call and one DARKSTIMS HQ experience day, subject to available places, in Founder Lab. These groups, inbox, calls and visits are not live benefits today. Exact availability, booking and inbox limits must be shown before any sale; a course outline is not a finished lesson.

First usable paid lessons are due 1 October 2026. The site is not ready for public enrolment. If we accept a paid-beta order before that date, the paid period starts when the purchase is confirmed, even if lessons are not yet available. Before payment, we must clearly identify which benefits start immediately, which are due later and any material limits on those benefits. If an agreed lesson or service is not supplied when promised, contact us; we will explain the revised delivery position and assess your cancellation, price-reduction or refund rights. No price, discount or feature on this page authorises a charge.

Planned LAUNCH offer

The intended LAUNCH code runs from 25 September 2026 until the end of 31 October 2026, Europe/London time. It is not active while checkout is closed. For an eligible first payment only, the planned discount is 20% for Learn and Grow and 30% for Founder Lab, whether the first charge is monthly or annual.

LAUNCH does not stack with another discount. The checkout must show eligibility, the actual first charge and later renewal amount before payment. The offer is not a promise that checkout will open during its stated window.

Payment, renewal and ending membership

When checkout opens, it must display the chosen plan, any discount, the amount due immediately, the regular renewal amount and billing interval before you place an order. Monthly plans renew each month and annual plans renew every 12 months unless cancelled before the next charge. The next charge date, full renewal price and how to stop renewal must be confirmed at checkout and in the order confirmation. We will provide a copy of the agreed terms and order details in a form you can keep.

You may stop future renewal at any time through the account billing area or by contacting us. There is no fee for stopping renewal. Cancellation of renewal normally leaves access in place until the end of the paid period shown in your account, unless a separate legal remedy applies. Cancelling future renewal does not by itself refund a payment already made. We will confirm the effective date and whether any future charge remains before you confirm cancellation. If the self-service route is unavailable, email us using the address above.

Cancellation rights and refunds

Consumer cancellation rights depend on the part of the membership supplied and when supply begins. Digital lessons, continuing access and any group, call or event services may be treated differently. We will give the applicable 14-day cancellation information and any required model cancellation form before a paid order. If we ask you to start receiving qualifying digital content during that period, any legally required express consent and acknowledgement of losing the change-of-mind right for that content will be separate from accepting these terms. Merely ticking a terms box does not waive that right.

There is no blanket “no refunds” rule. Your rights for content or services that are faulty, misdescribed or not supplied as agreed remain. Contact us if a promised lesson or service is delayed or missing, or if you believe a refund is due. We will assess the circumstances and applicable law, including any right to cancel, repeat performance, price reduction or refund. Nothing here excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Learning material and fair use

Our material is general educational information, not personalised legal, financial, tax or other professional advice. Business outcomes are not guaranteed. Check important decisions against relevant sources and seek suitable professional advice where needed. You may use material made available to your account for your own learning, but may not share paid access, redistribute lessons, interfere with the service or attempt unauthorised access. Content and branding remain subject to their respective intellectual property rights.

Community posting, photos and direct member messaging are not live. Separate rules, privacy information and safety controls will be provided before those features open. We may update the website or learning material, but a material change to something you bought does not remove your statutory remedies. We do not promise uninterrupted service; this does not excuse a failure to provide what was agreed.

Privacy, questions and changes

Creating an account or paying for membership would not sign you up for marketing emails. Joining the optional public email list is a separate choice with its own consent checkbox. Subscribers can unsubscribe using the link in an email or contact us. See our privacy policy for how information is used.

Contact us at the address above with a question, complaint or website issue. We may update these terms and will show the revision date. Before any paid order, we must present the terms that apply to that order; a later website edit does not silently rewrite an existing purchase or grant marketing consent. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
